Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of the Positive Electrics website and web application. By using either, you agree to them. They are operated by Positive Electrics Pty Ltd (REC 17537) of Pakenham, Victoria.
Terms and Conditions of Trade
These website terms are not our terms of trade. Our detailed Terms and Conditions of Trade — covering scope of works, variations, pricing, payment, site access, delivery, title and risk, defects and warranty — apply to quoted and contracted work and are supplied with a quote.

Who this application is for
The signed-in parts of this application are for Positive Electrics staff, subcontractors and authorised representatives. Accounts are issued by us. You may not share your sign-in details, use somebody else’s account, or attempt to reach any part of the application you have not been given access to.
Your account
You are responsible for what is done under your account, and for keeping your password and any device you stay signed in on secure. Tell us immediately at sales@positiveelectrics.com.au if you think somebody else has access to it. We may suspend or withdraw an account at any time, including when somebody’s engagement with us ends.
Information you enter
Timesheets, declarations, reimbursement claims and job records entered into this application are business records. Enter them accurately and honestly. We keep an audit trail of changes.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use this application for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaches anyone’s rights;
- interfere with it, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or probe or test its security;
- copy, scrape or extract its content or data other than for your own legitimate use of it;
- introduce malicious code, or place unreasonable load on it.
Availability
We aim to keep this application available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. It may be unavailable for maintenance, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Information on this site
Content on this site is general information only. It is not advice about a particular electrical installation, and it does not replace a site inspection, a quote, or the work of a licensed electrician. Electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrical worker under the applicable regulations.
Intellectual property
The content, design, logos and software on this site are owned by us or our licensors. The Positive Electrics name and logo are our trade marks. You may not use them without our written permission.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another site we do so for convenience. We do not control it and are not responsible for its content.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties in relation to this website and application, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of it. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page and applies from the date shown below.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
